I think my mom only called me Jacqueline Joy once or twice, growing up. It’s just too long and difficult when you’re mad! Lol!
Grew up in a small town outside of Portland Oregon.
In suburb of Portland, off of I-5.
Not far from my Grandparents in Newberg. My Aunt Mary lives in Salem, my Cousin too, her son.
My Dad has a couple sisters and their families live in NE Portland and Gresham/Sandy area, one cousin and his family live in Milwaukee, Oregon.
I have cousins with their families living in Oregon City, Oregon. One who lives in Alaska! The rest live in mid-California; Sacramento Area and Stockton. Others are more southern California San Jose area. There are some in the Oakland area.
Some in Oklahoma City Metro area; Some in Little Rock Arkansas area and the rest are in Bald Knob, Arkansas area. The reason I say area is because I am not sure exactly. Haven’t heard from anyone in quite awhile.
Have a couple cousins who are in the Military; Navy and Army respectively.
Funny thing, our paths cut across each other as years went on. We just got so hung up in our own lives, that we just stopped having the reunions and we drifted apart.
Not that we don’t have fond memories of those days, when we were all tweens and teens; but we just had our own lives.
We all still care for each other. We are just living our own lives.
